Universal Express was founded in 1985, the commercial center of the Arabian Gulf, facilitating the fast-growing demand for express service . At that time , we operated on just one linehaul route, between Dubai and London. Notable landmarks since then are :-

       - 1988 - JV with IFC Bombay, and Dubai-Bombay (Mumbai) route started
       - 1989 - Singapore office opened
       - 1991 and 2003 - No flights missed during the 2 Gulf Wars
       - 2006 - GSA Virgin Atlantic Express
       - 2007 - Web-enabled track and tracing
       - 2010 - Seven daily line-haul routes
       - Performance awards from Emirate Airlines, Singapore Airlines and Air India
